After a hectic morning, Elliana and I meet our friends Tina, Faith and Debbie.  Faith got her pictures taken then we headed over to the mall.  I got Elliana her first swimsuit and some pajamas.  I love Crazy 8's & Gymboree!!!

~ Daddy's Little Bumble Bee ~

Daddy likes to fly Elliana around like a little bumble bee.  They deliver dive bomb kisses!  It is so precious!  I dread this when she's 30lbs!  

Another busy day in the books, we are NEVER home!  Today, Elliana and I met Shannon, Alaina, and Liam at the mall.  Shannon had her first adventure out by herself with the kids.  It was so nice to see her and those beautiful babies!  Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures!

~ No More WU ~

Tonight Eric came for dinner and mentioned that Annie was looking for a Jason Wu scarf and Target in West Mifflin may have had it.  I went to Target today looking for a dress but it was already sold out.  Thanks to Facebook I knew Annie was looking for the scarf and I looked for it and asked Shannon to check her Target while she was there.  No luck at either Store.  We didn't have any luck in West Mifflin or Homestead Target either!  On the drive home I mentioned not taking any pictures and said I should have taken a picture looking for this Jason Wu stuff! Well our crazy butts went to another Target close to home and took some silly pictures of Elliana!  At one point I swear I heard her said Wu!  Incase you don't know Jason Wu is a designer that designed Michelle Obama's Inaugural ballgown.  He came out with this Target line and nothing was over $60.  It sold so quick the lady at Target said that there were people outside 20 hours before it went on sale!     

~ Really it's all gone ~

Elliana could not believe that it was really all gone!  The stores we were at literally had 2 shirts.  Eric did not really understand the madness behind Jason Wu until we were on our adventure tonight.  Today he checked on Ebay and there wasn't anything.  Just a few short hours after I told him to check and there it was for double or triple the cost in the store!

~ Potty Break ~

Elliana had to take a potty break!  It is always an adventure hanging out with Eric!  It is nice having someone to act silly with!  Poor Elliana who knows what our next trip holds!!!

So today we had another busy day!  What else is new?  Well it was a great day!  We got to see Aunt Megan and my cousin Sammy.  Of course we also got to see Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Tori, Uncle Andy, Aunt Chris and Grandma Nena (great grandma).  Mommy was so excited about my tutu she made she almost woke me up last night to try it on but she resisted.  You never wake a sleeping baby!  So she tried it on me today and I loved it!!!

So nice seeing Doug's Gram with both grandbabies!  Some kids are not lucky enough to have a grandma let alone a great grandma!  We are blessed!

 We all wore Steelers gear today to support the Steelers even though they weren't in the Super Bowl!  Elliana got this adorable shirt from the Indof's!  We love it!  I even caught a picture with drool coming out of her mouth but I thought this one was cuter!

 I haven't talked to my sister for over a year and today I took a giant leap and called her.  Her, my brother in law and my adorable niece came by for a visit.  It was so great seeing them and having them meet my little girl!

We had a great day today!  We had breakfast and did a quick run to the Strip District.  Then we headed to Hobby Lobby so I could get supplies for craft night!  We then stopped at Doug's Gram's for a visit with her and Aunt Mare.  While we were there Uncle Andy and Jos stopped in for a quick visit!  

  

~ SUPPLIES ~

 Thanks to Pinterest there are a million things I want to try to make.  Well today I picked up supplies for a few projects!  Check out below for some completed projects I did tonight at craft night!  My dear friend Nikki opened up her home to me and two other girls for craft night.  We had fun chatting and making lots of things!!!

~ Hair Bow Holder ~

I bought Elliana a hair bow holder with her name on it but there was nowhere to put the headbands.  I found this idea on Pinterest so I decided to give it a try.  I made this one very quickly out of things I had around the house except the hooks they were $1.20.  I bought the stuff today to make it but I wanted to give it a shot with this before I used the new supplies.

I wanted to get Elliana a tu-tu for awhile now but they are $20 or more.  So I decided to make her one! This cost less than $6 for the Tulle and I had the ribbon left from my baby shower!!!

 Letters from my Slice.  I got this steal at Michaels, normally $150 I paid $20!!!  Also 3 hair bows for Elliana!  One made from tulle scrap, one from Satin (thank you Nikki for the lesson) and one from lace ribbon!

 Our creations:  Felt Christmas ornaments (like the old time bulbs) by Joann, post cards by Sarah (made on her Cri-Cut, a Decorative Tray by Nikki and Hair Bows by me and Nikki.  Also letters cut out from my new Slice! I can not wait for the next craft night!

~Balloon Release ~

My friend Lorren from highschool, lost her brother Russell last year.  Today, was his birthday and she asked friends and family to do a balloon release in his memory.  

Here is Lorren's reason behind the ballons.   

"If you are curious as to why the balloons, Russell as many of you know, is a big kid at heart and what symbol doesn’t show children or childhood like a balloon. Also Russell always put up with my crazy ideas and was there to support me no matter what and put up with my silliness. Black because, he loved it!"

~ In Memory of Russell Pallone ~

 One thing I will never forget about Russell was his sense of humor.  He could ALWAYS make you laugh and put a smile on your face!  Russell may be gone but he will never be forgotten!!!  Happy Birthday Russell!

After a busy day of course, Aunt Tori came to hang out.  Elliana and I did a quick shopping run with Aunt Tori tonight after dinner.  When I say quick I mean it.  We made it through two stores and back home in less than 45 minutes.  That has to be a record!

~ A day late & a few keys short ~

Always an adventure hanging out with Uncle Eric.  No one is fooling Elliana though, the keys are covered up by the lid to the piano.

 Lots of great memories at the Igloo (aka as Civic Arena & Mellon Arena).   Some of my favorite memories: my first concert New Kids on the Block, the Creed concert with 2 of my favorite people Gregg & Doug, Sarah McLachlan concert with Eric & Doug a few rows from the stage and surprising my Dad with tickets to a playoff hockey game two rows from the ice!!!  He really believed that we were going to watch the game outside in the pouring rain on the big screen.  Miss you daddy!

~ Igloo NOW ~

The Pens got a new home across the street from the Igloo.   Console Energy Center is beautiful!  Sad to see the Igloo torn down though.  A feature of the Igloo was that the dome opened.  It's wide open today.  This is what it looked like today on the way home from picking Doug up.  The dome was made into ornaments and we were lucky enough to get one from Doug's Aunt Chris and Gram.

Elliana and I headed to Bliss today because I had a hair appointment.  I love having a good baby!  I can take her anywhere.  She was so good while I got my hair done.  She fell asleep the last few minutes.  Thank you Diane for a great cut and color!  After my hair appointment we did a quick run to the craft store with Doug's aunts.  We had a busy day!

Yes, I just said I have a good baby so these devil horns are not fitting but I can't resist taking a silly picture!  She was NOT amused!!!
